First of all let me warn you this is NOT a Leveling Guide, if your looking for a fast way to get from 1 to 80 we reccomend This Horde and Alliance Leveling Guide to help you level from 1 to 80 fast. Now with that out of the way...

This is the GameStrats Herbalism Leveling guide, and like the rest of our profession leveling guides we aim to show you the fastest way to level your Herbalism from 1 to 450. This guide is setup to show you the best zones for you to farm during your leveling, and weve included maps for most of the zones t make things even easier for you. Now herbalism is the gathering profession that accompanies both Alchmey and Inscription so if you plan on leveling a second profession along with herbalism those 2 are your best bet. However like all other gathering professions what you collect can be sold on the Ah for varying prices across all servers.

here at gameStrats we work alongside Team Vivus and all of our members use the addon:

  • Gatherer

This Addon is fantastic and when gathering anybody in your party/raid or guild will have there map automatically updated with the location of the noeds you collect and ofcourse it works the same way for you receiving the nodes they find. It really is a great addon and can be foundhere.

Guide Sections:

1 - 50 Peacebloom, Silverleaf, Earthroot
50 - 100 Mageroyal, Briarthorn, Stranglekelp
100 - 170 Bruiseweed, Wild Steelbloom, Kingsblood, Stranglekelp, Liferoot
170 - 210 Kingsblood, Liferoot, Fadeleaf, Khadgar's Whisker, Goldthorn
210 - 270 Purple Lotus, Sungrass
270 - 300 Sungrass, Gromsblood, Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom
300 - 325 Felweed, Dreaming Glory
325 - 350 Ragveil, Flame Cap, Terrocone, Felweed, Dreaming Glory
350 - 400 Goldclover
400 - 435 Goldclover, Adder's Tongue
435 - 450 Lichbloom, Icethron

Also a mistake i made when i was leveling was to ignore herbs i didn't need or that had turned green or grey to me, id definately advise you to grab everything you can see because there is always somebody else leveling Alchmey or Inscription that will be looking to by those herbs on the AH.

WoW Herbalism Leveling Guide 1 - 450

First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Apprentice Herbalism.

[Peacebloom], [Silverleaf], [Earthroot]

Basically just every starter zone, they are filled with Herbs.

50 - 100

Learn Herbalism Journeyman.

[Mageroyal], [Briarthorn], [Stranglekelp]

100 - 170

When you reach 150, go to your trainer and learn Herbalism Expert.

[Bruiseweed], [Wild Steelbloom], [Kingsblood], [Stranglekelp], [Liferoot]

170 - 210

Learn Herbalism Artisan.

[Kingsblood], [Liferoot], [Fadeleaf], [Khadgar's Whisker], [Goldthorn]

If you are not on a PvE server, and you are not level 70 yet. Don't go to Stranglethorn Vale. It was filled with level 70 players when I was powerleveling my herbalism last time, and this is not a PvP guide.

210 - 270

[Sungrass], [Purple Lotus]

After 245 you can pick up Ghost Mushrooms in the caves too.

270 - 300

[Sungrass], [Gromsblood], [Golden Sansam], [Dreamfoil], [Mountain Silversage], [Plaguebloom]

300 - 325

Go to Outland and learn Herbalism Master.

[Felweed], [Dreaming Glory]

325 - 350

[Ragveil], [Flame Cap], [Terrocone], [Felweed], [Dreaming Glory]

350 - 400

Go to Northrend and learn Herbalism Grand Master.
